The Board of Trustees is the governing body of the AAS and is responsible for the management, direction, and control of the affairs and the property of the AAS. From time to time, the Board of Trustees issues resolutions articulating the official policy positions of the AAS.

This page links to letters that the AAS has joined. Letters are typically in response to a policy or proposed policy, are written by a professional society or coalition of societies, and are sent to the relevant policymakers.
