The National Science Foundation seeks nominations for its 2017 Alan T. Waterman Award to recognize the talent, creativity, and influence of a singular young researcher. Nomination deadline: 21 October 2016.

The Lecar Prize recognizes exceptional contributions to the study of extrasolar planets in particular and theoretical astrophysics in general. Nominations are now welcome. Deadline: 1 September 2016.

The National Academy of Sciences is soliciting nominations for the 2017 Henry Draper Medal, awarded for recent astrophysics research. The nomination deadline is 3 October 2016.

The National Science Board is now accepting nominations for the 2017 Vannevar Bush and Public Service awards. Nominations are due 3 October 2016.
