For Black Space Week 2025, the theme "Weaving the Universe Together" beautifully captures the essence of unity, creativity, and empowerment within the Black space science and exploration community. Across seven days, from 15 to 21 June, this celebration interlaces diverse threads of astronomy, storytelling, policy, journalism, and art into a vibrant cosmic tapestry. Each day’s events — from virtual mixers and policy panels to storytelling sessions and craft nights — highlight the invaluable contributions of Black professionals in shaping our understanding of the universe. As the stars connect to form constellations, so too do these moments connect individuals, knowledge, and inspiration, reminding us that space is not just a frontier, but a shared narrative woven by all.
