The 2022 Membership Renewal Campaign is Here!

Renewing your AAS membership has never been easier — you can easily log in and renew online, plus there’s no more waiting for paper invoices in the mail. By now, most members who are up for renewal in 2022 should have received an email with their dues invoice attached.

There is much more to expect from the Society in the coming year!

• Your community-owned and operated scientific journals will be fully open access starting 1 January 2022. Be sure to renew before 1 January 2022 to earn an author discount on one paper published in the AAS journals.
• After going virtual for AAS 236, AAS 237, and AAS 238, the current plan is for an in-person 239th AAS meeting. Join us 9-13 January 2022 in Salt Lake City, Utah. If you have science to share, abstracts are welcome through 12 October 2021. Can’t make it on-site? A separate virtual registration at only $99 ($49 for students) will provide access to live plenary talks, select Town Halls, all press conferences, the meeting’s Slack Workspace, and iPosters.
• With the new Strategic Plan in place, watch for actions that will advance the Society’s mission to enhance and share humanity’s scientific understanding of the universe as a diverse and inclusive astronomical community.

Make these expectations real. There are several ways to renew your AAS membership for 2022:

1. Log in at https://my.aas.org and click on “Pay My Dues” in the upper right to renew with a credit card.
2. Call the membership department at +1 202-328-2010 x109 and renew with a credit card. We can help with invoice updates as well.
3. Print the invoice that was attached to your renewal email and mail it with a check or your credit card details to our post box in Baltimore (this address is on the invoice).
