Final 2020 Membership Renewal Reminder

Diane Frendak

Diane Frendak American Astronomical Society (AAS)

Time is running out on your membership in the American Astronomical Society if you haven't yet renewed for this year. Final call emails were sent to members and affiliates with outstanding dues balances. If you didn't receive the email, you're all set. If you're unsure or need to renew, go to my.aas.org and log in with your AAS username and password. Look for the framed Profile-at-a-Glance section on the right and confirm your Paid through date. If it's 31 December 2019 or earlier, then it's time to renew.

If you've recently renewed, thank you very much!

Renewals made after 27 February will be subject to a $10 reinstatement fee. If we don't hear from you by 6 March, we'll make one last effort to reach you by telephone.

By renewing, you'll breeze through the abstract submission and registration for the upcoming AAS meetings in Madison, Wisconsin, and Phoenix, Arizona, reserving your spot for the 2020 AAS Membership Directory, and be eligible to be elected as an AAS Fellow. The official announcement has yet to be made, but when you renew, you'll have the option to add a subscription to Sky & Telescope at a discounted member rate.

We know you value your connection to the Society's rich community of scientists who not only study celestial phenomena, but also contribute so much more by advocating for science and training the next generation. As a member-driven organization, the Society relies on your support in several ways — including renewing your membership. This past year, we've accomplished so much thanks to your support and the contributions of our members. In 2020, we hope to accomplish even more.

If you have questions about your benefits or need assistance with your login or renewal, please email the membership team or call us at (202) 328-2010 x106 or x109.
