CSWA Chair Issues Message to the Community on Harassment

The chair of the AAS Committee on the Status of Women in Astronomy (CSWA) has posted a message on the Women in Astronomy blog to the greater astronomy community on harassment. The Society's leadership is in dialog about recent events and is discussing the best way for the Society to respond. The Society, through its policies, bylaws, and actions has sought and will continue to seek an environment that fosters scholarly discourse in the astronomical sciences without the threat of harassment of any kind.
