How do I give my talk?

If you are giving a talk, visit the speaker ready table, in the back of Grand Ballroom C, prior to your session date and time to have your talk uploaded. There will also be an opportunity to upload your talks ahead of the meeting.

Practice your presentation in a quiet, comfortable well-lit area.

Poster Presentations

Posters offer greater flexibility and interaction than oral talks and are the default presentation format. They are ideal for showcasing charts, graphs, and detailed visual aids. The poster area also serves as the meeting’s social hub.

All posters will be displayed in the Archview Ballroom at the Hilton at the Ballpark for the duration of the conference.

Poster Viewing Hours

Please refer to the Block Schedule for designated viewing times.

• Poster Move-In:
  Posterboards will be set up beginning Monday, October 13, at 6:00 am CST.
  Presenters may begin mounting posters after 12:30 pm.

• Poster Move-Out:
  All posters must be removed by Thursday, October 16, no later than 2:00 pm CST.

• Posters not removed by this time will be recycled.

Poster Specifications

• Posters must fit within a physical space of 4 ft. x 4 ft.

Please review the Block Schedule and note your session’s date and time (time zone: CST).

Session Chair Information

• Regular Contributed Oral Talks: 15 minutes total

  • 12 minutes for the presentation

  • 3 minutes for questions and transition to the next speaker

• Special Session Talks: Vary in length

  • As the Chair and Session Organizer, you will determine the appropriate length for each presentation.
