For those directly impacted by the US government shutdown
Government employees and contractors who were specifically prohibited from registering are eligible to register at the “regular” rate (e.g., $740 for AAS members) now that the government is open and authorizations were granted.
Once your travel is approved, complete this secure form to request the regular registration rate, and provide your credit card payment, and details about your situation.

- In the Explanation field, briefly describe your specific circumstances.
When your submission is received, we will process your registration and send your confirmation.
To request this extension, you must complete the form no later than 1 December.
