Paid Subscriptions 2022

NEW! AAS Journals Will Switch to Open Access as of 1 January 2022.

Under this change, all articles in the AAS journal portfolio will be immediately open for anyone to freely read. The transition will affect the Astronomical Journal (AJ), the Astrophysical Journal (ApJ), Astrophysical Journal Letters (ApJL), and the Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series (ApJS). The Planetary Science Journal is already fully open access. Learn more.

Subscribe to Sky & Telescope 

Are you an AAS member and want to subscribe to Sky & Telescope? You can add a subscription to your membership under the “Pay My Dues” section of the member website. Or send your subscription request to the Membership Team at membership@aas.org.

Sustaining subscriptions are a way to support Sky & Telescope and receive a tax deduction. Sustaining subscribers will also receive exclusive communications from the editor in chief throughout the year and be invited to special events at conferences and star parties. The additional funds will be used to enhance the magazine and help to ensure its long-term success.
