Peter Carley (Principal, Human Resources and Career Strategies) will describe the hiring process for STEM-related positions from the HR perspective — from the development of the job description and posting to making the job offer.
You will learn how to tailor your resume for the position, how to prepare for the different types of interviews, tips for the day of your face-to-face interview, and what research you need to do before receiving an offer. You will also discover how to approach the issue of salary during the recruiting process and get tips on effectively handling the negotiation of your compensation package.
