Apply for the 2018-2019 Fulbright Scholar Program

The Fulbright Scholar Program is pleased to offer over 50 awards in physics and astronomy to conduct research and teach during the 2018-2019 academic year. Opportunities are available for college and university faculty and administrators as well as for professionals, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars, and many others.

This year, the Fulbright Scholar Program is pleased to offer an exciting new opportunity for postdoctoral scholars, the Fulbright Astronomy and Antarctic Studies Award (Postdoctoral Scholars/Early Career Scientists) in Chile. This award seeks to fund postdoctoral fellows and early career scientists from US institutions to establish collaborations with astronomers and data scientists at Chilean institutions. The chosen candidates will research or teach and research for three to four months at any accredited regional university in Chile.
