NOAO Call for Proposals for 2017B Semester Observing Time

The National Optical Astronomy Observatory (NOAO) announces the availability of observing time for the 2017B semester, August 2017–January 2018. The facilities available this semester include the Gemini North and South telescopes, Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (including the Southern Astrophysical Research Telescope), Kitt Peak National Observatory (including the WIYN Observatory), as well as time available on the Subaru 8.2-m telescope, and the 4-m Anglo-Australian Telescope through exchange programs.

In addition, open access time is beginning on the Large Binocular Telescope (LBT) with seven nights available, and increased access to CHARA with 15 nights in 2017B. Proposals are due no later than 11:59 pm Mountain Standard Time on Friday, 31 March 2017.
