Applications Being Accepted for the 2017 John N. Bahcall Public Policy Fellowship

Joel Parriott American Astronomical Society (AAS)

Do you love writing, giving talks, and meeting new people? Are you energetic and outgoing? Do you have an odd affection for committee meetings? Are you interested in a career in science policy? Then you are an excellent candidate to be the next John N. Bahcall Public Policy Fellow here at the AAS! It is certain to be a challenging and exciting time to advocate for science in Washington.

While we are sad to see current Bahcall Fellow Heather Bloemhard's time with us coming to an end, we are excited to begin the search for the next Fellow! Former Bahcall Fellows have all gone on to interesting and rewarding positions in public policy after leaving the AAS. The normal fellowship term is one year (September to September), renewable for an additional year.

Please see the post on the AAS Job Register and our online application form for additional details, and please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions. Applications are due March 31st.
