Observe with NASA's Infrared Telescope Facility

This notice is posted on behalf of William Walters of the University of Hawaii's Institute for Astronomy:

NASA invites observing proposals for the 3-meter Infrared Telescope Facility on Mauna Kea, Hawaii, for the 2015B semester: 1 August 2015 to 31 January 2016. Proposals are due on Wednesday, 1 April 2015, and may be submitted using our online form.

Available instruments include the following:

  1. SpeX, a 1–5 micron cross-dispersed medium-resolution spectrograph (up to R = 2,500) and imager;
  2. CSHELL, a 1-5 micron high-resolution spectrograph (up to R = 40,000);
  3. MORIS, a 512 x 512 pixel Andor CCD camera (60" x 60" field of view) mounted at the side-facing window of the SpeX cryostat and that can be used simultaneously with SpeX; and
  4. PI-instruments including a low-resolution 3-14 micron spectrograph and an 8-25 micron high-resolution spectrograph.
