NASA's Transform to Open Science (TOPS) mission, which provides the visibility, advocacy, and community resources to support and enable the shift to open science, is organizing several sessions on open science at AAS 242. These sessions will include a pre-meeting workshop and a Meeting-in-a-Meeting (MiM).

The pre-meeting workshop is free of charge to attend and will introduce the ethos of open science, addressing topics such as what open science looks like in practice, how it leads to better results, and how it fosters more diverse and inclusive scientific communities and research practices.
