A Call to Action for Science Education

What are the major challenges for K-12 and postsecondary science education? What can state and federal policy makers do to strengthen science education programs?

Share your insights with a new committee from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine that has been convened to identify key steps the nation can take in order to prepare students to face global challenges both as engaged participants in society and in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) careers. With the right programs and support, we can prepare today's students to address the challenges of tomorrow.
