AAS 237 Doxsey Prize Judges Needed!

At this time, we are in need of Doxsey Prize Judges for the 237th AAS meeting! If you’re a full member of the AAS and are willing to review and rank the ~100 dissertation abstracts that are generally entered into each year’s competition, please send us an email by Monday, 12 October. Judges will have time to read abstracts before the final judging takes place in late October/early November via a short conference call.

The AAS Rodger Doxsey Travel Prize provides graduate students or postdocs within one year (either side) of receipt of their PhD a monetary prize to enable the oral presentation of their dissertation research at a winter meeting of the AAS. Additionally, some are selected to receive a complementary registration to the current AAS meeting.
