Annual Review of Astronomy and Astrophysics

The Annual Review of Astronomy and Astrophysics, published since 1963, covers significant developments in the study of the Sun; solar system and extrasolar planets; stars and star clusters; the interstellar medium; our galaxy and other galaxies; active galactic nuclei; cosmology; instrumentation and techniques; and the history of the development of new areas of research.

The 2018 edition, Vol. 56, is now available online and in print. The 16 reviews in this volume cover significant developments in the field of astronomy and astrophysics. Topics include the connection between galaxies and their dark matter halos, origins of hot Jupiters, rubble pile asteroids, the interstellar dust properties of nearby galaxies, and multiconjugate adaptive optics for astronomy.

Volume 56 also features an autobiographical article by Jaan Einasto titled "Cosmology Paradigm Changes".
