HEAD 16 Registration Deadline Is Friday!

16th HEAD meeting

Next month, the AAS High Energy Astrophysics Division (HEAD) will gather in Sun Valley, Idaho, for the 16th HEAD meeting. The meeting will take place 20-24 August at the Sun Valley Resort.

Have you registered yet? If not, make sure you register for the meeting by this Friday, 28 July, if you want to avoid the higher late/onsite rates. This meeting boasts an impressive lineup of speakers, sessions, and events, so you don't want to miss it!

Have you booked your flight? Travel information is available on the meeting website, and be sure to look at the ground transportation available from your arrival airport to the Sun Valley Resort. The resort offers a complimentary guest shuttle from the Friedman Memorial Airport in Sun Valley, or if you're flying into Boise Airport, shuttle transportation is available through Sun Valley Express.

Once you've registered and planned your travel, don't forget to take a look at eclipse viewing information for the Sun Valley area so you're prepared for the 21 August solar eclipse.

See you in Idaho!
