AAS Winter Meeting Late Abstracts & Hotel Reservations Due Soon!

The 229th AAS meeting is just around the corner! Join your colleagues from across the country in Grapevine, Texas, 3-7 January 2017 — remember, that’s Tuesday–Saturday instead of the usual Sunday–Thursday, to avoid clashing with the New Year's Day holiday weekend.

If you missed the regular abstract deadline, you still have a little time left to submit your poster abstract and join an exciting program of speakers and events. The late abstract deadline is 9:00 pm ET on Thursday, 1 December. Abstracts submitted by this deadline will be scheduled as posters to be displayed on Saturday, 7 January. Don’t forget to reserve a hotel room! The AAS has reserved a block of rooms at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center for meeting attendees. Reserve your hotel room by Monday, 5 December, to ensure you receive the group rate.
