228th AAS Meeting Regular Abstract Deadline Approaching

Do you want to be part of what is sure to be another amazing schedule of talks, sessions, and events? Submit an abstract for the 228th meeting of the American Astronomical Society, to be held 12‑16 June in San Diego, California. Hurry, the regular abstract submission deadline is next Thursday, 3 March, at 9:00 pm ET. If you're planning to submit as a member, don't forget to pay your dues prior to the deadline.

Help us ensure that all of the abstracts in your field make it into the appropriate oral or poster sessions. The AAS is seeking members to help create the contributed science sessions at the summer meeting. Sorters are able to complete the process from their own computer, on their own time. Training will take place on 15 March and sorting must be completed by 21 March. If you are interested, please email Kathy Cox with the scientific categories that fit your expertise.

Have you registered for the meeting yet? Register by 14 April to avoid the late or onsite registration fees! Once you've registered for the meeting, make sure to book your hotel room by 6 May to ensure the group rate.

Thank you to the sponsors of the 228th meeting of the AAS: SBIG Instruments, Associated Universities, Inc., Astro Haven Enterprises, Ball Aerospace, and Spectral Instruments.
