1. Once you’ve received your promo code from the DPS Press Officer, go to the DPS 56 registration page and click the orange "Register for DPS 56" button. This will take you to the meeting registration site.

2. Sign in with your AAS username and password, which you've done before if you've attended a recent AAS or DPS meeting. If you’ve forgotten your login credentials, click the “Forgot username?” or “Forgot password?” link and follow the instructions that pop up. If you’re sure you have an AAS account but can’t sign in, email [email protected] for assistance.

3. If you don’t have (or don’t recall having) an AAS account, click the “Create a new account” link. Then search our database using the form provided to see if you already have an account before you accidentally create a duplicate. Assuming the search finds no records, fill in the “Create an Account” form. Finally, sign in with your newly created AAS username and password. 4. Once signed in, click the orange “Register Myself” button. The page will reload and present you with several registration options at different prices. Select the “IN-PERSON Press Registration” or "VIRTUAL Press Registration" option. Don’t fret about the cost shown there! When you enter your promo code (provided to you by the DPS Press Officer) at checkout, the fee will go to $0 — as long as you've chosen one of the two press registration options and have a valid promo code.

5. After answering some questions to confirm that you understand and agree to our meeting policies, click the “Save Responses” button. If you wish to change any of your responses, do so and then click the “Update Responses” button.

6. If you choose to sign up for workshops or other events (if any), or to make any of the suggested donations, you will need to pay full price for those. Your promo code covers only the registration fee for the science meeting.

7. Scroll down and click the orange “Proceed to Checkout” button. Enter your promo code in the “Promotional Code” box and click the orange “Apply” button; you should now see the registration fee reduced to $0.

8. Click the “Submit Order” button to complete your registration; unless you opted to attend a workshop or make a donation, you won’t have to pay anything. The next screen will confirm your registration and display a receipt. You should soon receive two emails: one from [email protected] and another from [email protected]. If you don’t see these emails in your in-box, check your junk/spam folder.
