Chambliss Astronomy Achievement Student Awards

The Astronomy Achievement Student Awards are given to recognize exemplary research by undergraduate and graduate students who present at one of the poster sessions at the meetings of the AAS. Awardees are honored with a Chambliss medal and recognition on AAS's website.

Donate to the Chambliss Astronomy Achievement Student Award Fund

Winners of the Chambliss student awards at a given AAS meeting are typically announced within 3–4 weeks of the conclusion of the meeting. Medals for both the winter and summer meetings are typically engraved and sent to recipients around March–April each year.
