Statement:
Diversity brings ideas, renewal, and vibrancy to any endeavor. Astronomy is not different from any other enterprise of the human intellect, and the AAS, with its continued efforts to bring in a diverse representation of our community, proves the point. As a member of the Nominating Committee, I would support those efforts by imparting them a positive trajectory.
