Have you ever submitted a research article to an AAS journal? If so, you’re already eligible to serve as a peer reviewer — and your contribution is critical to ensuring the integrity of scientific publishing. Yet most astronomers never receive formal training in how to provide constructive, effective reviews.

That’s where AAS Publishing comes in. At AAS 248 in Pasadena, we’re offering a Peer Review Training Workshop designed to give you the confidence and skills you need to review manuscripts with clarity and impact.

When: Sunday, 14 June 2026, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm (lunch included!)
Where: Pasadena Convention Center, Pasadena, California
