Supercharging Your Science with Software: The Asclepias Project Special Session at AAS 239

Mubdi Rahman Sidrat Research

The Asclepias Project
Discovery in astronomy is being driven by the development of new software tools within every aspect of our science. The Asclepias project, a project of the AAS, the SAO/NASA Astrophysics Data System, and Zenodo, was born out of scientists' need to distribute, discover, and track software as it is used in astronomy. This tool allows you to connect the software tools and the scientific results, making your progress faster, more open, and reproducible.

To celebrate the public release of the Asclepias tool, join us for a special session at the 239th AAS Meeting in Salt Lake City on Monday, 10 January, at 10:00 am MT. We will demonstrate the tool and host a panel discussion on the future of astronomical software and scientific literature with participants across the field. We’re excited to see the new software and science that comes as you use Asclepias!
