New Job or Address? It’s Time to Update Your Profile

Diane Frendak

Diane Frendak American Astronomical Society (AAS)

The AAS will soon begin production on the 2016 Membership Directory. If you moved, landed a new job, or would rather not be listed, now is the time to update your contact information. Updates are due by Wednesday, 18 March.

Here’s how: go to members.aas.org, log in with your AAS username and password, and click on My Account along the top navigation bar. On the page that comes up next, you’ll see a Directory Address box, and you can modify its contents by clicking the pencil icon in the upper-right corner.

Make sure you have an email address entered in your Directory Address fields, otherwise, should you forget your username or password, it won’t be possible for you to reset your online credentials without Executive Office intervention.

Please contact the AAS membership department if you need to update your name or organization. We are also happy to help if you do not want to be listed in the directory and/or do not wish to have a printed copy mailed to you. Many members find it handy to have the 30-page section of frontmatter at their fingertips — it consolidates key information about the Society that is dispersed across the AAS website.
