Judges Needed for 2016 Rodger Doxsey Travel Prizes

Tuesday, September 29, 2015 - 16:31

The Rodger Doxsey Travel Prize provides graduate students or postdocs within one year (either side) of receipt of their PhD a monetary prize to enable the oral presentation of their dissertation research at a winter meeting of the AAS.

With the regular abstract deadline for the 227th AAS meeting in Kissimmee, Florida, 4-8 January 2016 upon us, it’s time to choose this year’s Doxsey Prize winners, which means we also need Doxsey Prize judges!

If you’re a full member of the AAS and are willing to review and rank the ~100 dissertation abstracts that will be entered into this year’s competition, please send me an email by Friday, 9 October. Judging will take place in late October/early November via a conference call.
