Masaryk University announces an open competition for the position
Postdoctoral position in computational astrophysics
Workplace: Department of Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics, Faculty of Science, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic
Key Duties:
- position within a grant team studying mass-loss close to the Eddington limit
- numerical modelling of hydrodynamics of mass-loss or radiative transfer in massive stars close to the Eddington limit
Skills and Qualifications
- PhD Degree in astrophysics or related fields
- not later than 8 years since receiving PhD
- experience in computational astrophysics, especially numerical hydrodynamics or radiative transfer
