Applications for the 2026-2027 Fellowship | Harvard Radcliffe Institute

Harvard Radcliffe fellows are exceptional scientists, writers, scholars, public intellectuals, and artists whose work is making a difference in their professional fields and in the larger world. Fellows step away from usual routines to join a uniquely interdisciplinary and creative community and dive deeply into a project. 

Our scientists develop new methods or tools or collaborate with a lab or research group in the Cambridge, MA area.  

Fellowship Program Details  

• Radcliffe Institute fellows are in residence for a period of nine months from September 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027, Fellows are expected to be free of their regular commitments so that they may fully devote themselves to their project and engaging with members of the fellowship cohort.     

• Each fellow is provided with a private office space  

•  Fellows also receive a $78,000 stipend plus an additional $5,000 to cover project expenses, access to Harvard’s research facilities and libraries, and professional development workshops throughout the year.
