Faculty Position in Physics and Astronomy

The Faculty of Engineering and Sciences (FES) of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez is pleased to invite interested individuals to apply for an academic position in the field of physics and/or astronomy at the Viña del Mar campus. Applicants must demonstrate a strong academic record and proven experience at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor, including a distinguished record of publications and funded projects, as well as significant contributions to teaching.

Faculty members are expected to:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their field of expertise. Fluency in Spanish is required, as the faculty offers undergraduate courses in academic Spanish.
• Supervise theses, conduct high-quality research, publish in top international journals, submit research proposals to national, international, and multinational funding organizations, and participate in outreach activities.
• Demonstrate a strong aptitude for teamwork and a commitment to high-quality education and research.
• FES also encourages and welcomes technological transfer and research in collaboration with industry and government.
