Public selection for the recruitment of No. 1 fixed-term full-time tenure track researcher, of a duration of six years. The successful applicant will be required to carry out research activities on topics of Astrophysics and Cosmology, with particular regard to the formation and evolution of primordial galaxies, cosmic reionisation and the use of high-performance numerical simulation techniques. The successful applicant will also be required to collaborate actively in the supervision of the undergraduate and PhD students in Physics and in Computational Astrophysics and Cosmology (COMPAC). The present contract does not entitle to any right of access to academic roles. Depending on the financial resources available, in the third year of the contract, the holder who obtained a National Scientific Qualification will be subject to an evaluation aimed at the appointment to the position of Associate Professor. If the outcome of the evaluation is positive, at the expiration of the temporary contract, the holder of the same is appointed to the position of Associate Professor.
