Job Description
The Exoplanet group at University of Southern Queensland Centre for Astrophysics is inviting candidates for two fully funded PhD scholarships (3 years). Successful candidate will work with Dr Chelsea Huang, Dr George Zhou, and the broader group on topics including
- Discovering and characterising cool super-Earths around low mass stars
- Understanding atmospheres demographics of sub-Neptunes and giant planets
- Understand planet demographics with TESS
Responsibilities and qualifications: We are seeking talented and highly motivated students to work at the cutting edge of the rapidly moving research field of exoplanets. Applicants with previous experience in the mentioned areas of research, strong programming skills are strongly encouraged to apply.
