Job Description
The Brazilian team for the FAPESP-Macao joint project "Probing solar wind MHD turbulence", invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in space plasma physics. The selected candidate will focus on the numerical modeling of solar wind turbulence and will work under the supervision of Prof. Reinaldo Santos de Lima (IAG-USP), also in collaboration with our international team:

Requirements:
Education: A Ph.D. in Physics, Astronomy, or a related field, defended within the last seven years.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in research including plasma physics and numerical simulations.
Skills: Strong teamwork abilities, motivation, initiative, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in English.
Conditions:
Funding: Supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) by a fellowship linked to a partnership project with the Macao Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT).
Duration: To be held until January 2029.
Compensation: Includes a monthly stipend (R$ 12.570,00 tax-free) plus contingency funds (10% of the stipend) for research-related expenses.
