Job Description
We are accepting applications for a PhD position in the Solar System Evolution Group at the
University of Vienna. The student will investigate loss processes from planetary atmospheres
driven by the planet’s host star. The main aim is to develop statistical approaches for various

Compensation and Benefits
The benefits are according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement of the University of Vienna. Healthcare is covered. Public transportation in Vienna is very affordable, and there are many options for good housing.
Fair salary: A basic gross salary of EUR 3.776,10 (on a 40h/week basis) per month, 14 times
a year. PhD positions are 30h/week.
