The Oberlin College Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Astronomy, beginning July 1, 2022. Candidates must have (or receive before August 31, 2022) a Ph.D. in astronomy, astrophysics, or related field.
Among the qualifications required for appointment is a PhD degree (in hand or expected by first semester of academic year 2022). Candidates must demonstrate interest and potential excellence in undergraduate teaching. Successful teaching experience at the college level is desirable. Compensation and Benefits
Within the range established for this position, salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a competitive benefits package.
