Job Description
The astrophysics group at McMaster University invites applications for the William and Caroline Herschel Postdoctoral Fellowship. Fellows have the opportunity to pursue an independent research program. Preference will be given to proposals connecting to strengths in the McMaster group: exoplanets, stellar and binary astrophysics, radio transients, star formation, the interstellar medium, star clusters, nearby galaxies, and galaxy formation and evolution. For this competition, we particularly invite proposals from candidates with interests related to exoplanets, star cluster formation, and transients.
Appointments will initially be for two years. The fellowship is renewable for an additional year subject to academic review of the candidate.
