Postdoctoral Research Assistant

The Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Postdoctoral Research Assistant. The incumbent will perform research and work primarily on galaxies, galaxy groups, galaxy clusters and AGN. The Candidates with research experience on the the optical IFS data and X-ray data are preferred. The postdoc will work with Prof. Ming Sun.

Minimum qualifications include a doctoral degree in Physics or Astronomy, 0-24 months of work experience, research experience on galaxies and experience with data analysis of the optical or X-ray data and programming. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
