CASSACA (Chinese Academy of Sciences South American Center for Astronomy) is inviting applications to a tenure-track scientist positions in observational, theoretical, and computational astrophysics. As an oversea center of the National Astronomical Observatories (NAOC), CASSACA was founded in 2001, and has two offices in Santiago, Chile and Beijing, China. Current researches at CASSACA involves galaxy formation and evolution, exoplanet, and high energy physics (http://www.cassaca.org/en).
Candidates should have a PhD in Physics or Astronomy and an established research record. Preferred qualification will be given to candidates that has demonstrated the potential for China-Chile collaborations in the field of astronomy, including but not limited to: observational, theoretical, computational astronomy and instrumentation and astronomical site selection. Salary and benefit are contingent upon qualification and performance.
