The School of Science at Westlake University is now inviting candidates worldwide to apply for Ph.D. positions in Astronomy. We are looking for candidates who:

• Hold or will obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree in physics, astrophysics, astronomy, or a closely related field by August 2026.
• Have a solid grounding in physics and mathematics.
• Have a keen interest in astrophysical research and demonstrate strong academic potential.
• Are proficient in programming (e.g., Python, C++, Julia) and experienced in data analysis. Experience with astronomical datasets is a strong plus.
• Have good communication skills in English, both written and verbal, and can thrive in a collaborative, international setting.
