Physics and Technology Analyst - Associate or Technical Staff

Job Description
As a Physics & Technology Analyst of the ISR Systems and Architectures Group, you will be contribute to/ be responsible for systems analysis studies of critical DoD missions, planned DoD capabilities, and new technologies. This entails contributing to the development of physics- and engineering-based models for a wide array of technologies related to sensors, aircraft, satellites, communication systems, navigation, and data exploitation. While previous experience in these systems isn’t required, you must be able to leverage your strong technical background to rapidly become knowledgeable about these technologies as you learn from, and collaborate with, experts across the Laboratory. Additionally, you will prepare and present high-quality briefings to convey key study findings and recommendations, and will deliver these to a range of audiences including DoD senior leaders, government technology experts, and Lincoln Laboratory colleagues.
Requirements:
- Associate Staff – Master’s in Physics, Mathematics, Aeronautics/Astronautics, Engineering, or related field
- Technical Staff – Doctorate in Physics, Mathematics, Aeronautics/Astronautics, Engineering, or related field. Masters with 5+ years of experience will be considered
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3.5 GPA
- Ability to quickly learn new technical areas
- Demonstrated ability to break down complex technical problems and communicate key findings to a wide range of audiences
- Experience with MATLAB-based modeling, simulation, and data analysis
