Associate Editor - Astronomy Magazine

Due to a recent retirement, Kalmbach Media is seeking an Associate Editor for Astronomy Magazine, the world's leading title on the subject, and to work in partnership with Discover. These award-winning science brands are based in our Waukesha office. 

JOB DUTIES:

• Produces and edits stories for the magazine and special issues in a creative, timely manner
• Produces digital content for Astronomy and Discover's websites
• Produces creative ideas and help to oversee production of science ecommerce products

EXPERIENCE:

• A BS degree in physics, astronomy, journalism, or English
• 4 years experience with print or digital media
• Experience/knowledge of astronomy and interest in related sciences
• Analytical approach to thinking & problem solving
