Job Summary
Job Description
We have four postdoctoral positions open in the galaxy/AGN group of the School of Astronomy and Space Science at Nanjing University. Successful applicants will work mainly with one of the faculty members, Yong Shi, Bin Luo, Yanmei Chen, or Zhi-Yu Zhang, on observational studies of the physics and evolution of galaxies and their central supermassive black holes.
Host institution
The School of Astronomy and Space Science at Nanjing University (https://astronomy.nju.edu.cn/EN/index.html) is one of the most prestigious Astronomy Schools/Departments in China. It is a full member of SDSS-V. It has accesses to the IRAM 30-m and NOEMA telescopes via a MoU with IRAM, and the CFHT and P200 telescopes via the China TAP program.
Research description
