Joel Ong. This opportunity is a part of an ARC-funded project, led by Dr. Ong, which aims to address the following key questions: a) how prevalent is differential rotational misalignment? b) what are its astrophysical consequences for stellar rotation and magnetism? and c) how can we use it to better understand stellar astrophysics more broadly? The PhD candidate will be working towards answering these questions together Dr. Ong as a part of their PhD project.
The selected PhD candidate will be offered a 3-year PhD scholarship with a possible 6-month extension.
