The Department of Physics at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (UWM) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship, beginning fall 2019. Areas of interest include but are not limited to gravitational-wave science, observational astronomy, and theoretical astrophysics. The position is associated with the Center for Gravitation, Cosmology and Astrophysics, home to seven professors, one visiting professor, eleven post-doctoral researchers and staff scientists, and a number of graduate and undergraduate students.
