RIT Seeks Two Assistant Professors of Imaging Science at the Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science

DESCRIPTION: The Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science at the Rochester Institute of Technology invites candidates to apply for two tenure-track faculty positions at the assistant professor level. We are seeking candidates with research expertise in 1) the field of computer vision and in 2) the field of earth remote sensing systems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • A recently earned doctoral degree (Ph.D. or international equivalent) by the hire date (expected to be August 15, 2017) • A record of refereed scholarly publication in their field of expertise related to the search areas • The ability to teach CIS core courses • The ability to teach elective courses in their field of expertise at the undergraduate and graduate levels • Potential to obtain external research funding
