Faculty Position in the School of Physics

As the first research institute for basic sciences in the nation, Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) was founded in 1996 by Korean Government to promote excellence in the basic science research. School of Physics at Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) is seeking outstanding faculty candidates for full-time Professor position in the field of Theoretical Physics. Applicants are expected to have a strong commitment to research, an excellent track record in the field, and the ability to establish collaborative teams and train junior scientists. Applicants should demonstrate research excellence, diverse experiences, and leadership that elevate the research area to a world-leading level. The initial appointment for faculty position one to three years and is renewable for every up to seven additional years depending on overall research performance.
