Join fellow individuals interested in learning more about the AAVSO’s core subject areas: stellar photometry, stellar spectroscopy, exoplanet photometry, and solar observing. The two-day program includes lectures, oral presentations, poster papers, and plenty of networking opportunities. Sunday morning will feature the AAVSO Membership Meeting and award ceremony. Confirmed keynote speakers include Dr. Peter Plavchan, Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy at George Mason University and the Executive Director of George Mason Observatories; and Dr. Melissa L. Graham, a research staff scientist in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.
