The NASA XMM-Newton Guest Observer Facility and ESA Science Operations Centre invite you to our first virtual Data Analysis Workshop!

Taking place 1-3 April, this workshop will:

1. Highlight the diverse scientific studies that can be enabled by XMM-Newton data.
2. Introduce new users to the Science Analysis System (SAS) and Extended Source Analysis Software (ESAS), as enabled through Jupyter notebooks.
3. Provide beginners with an introduction to the XMM archive.
4. Introduce both new and experienced users to the prospect of XMM data analysis on SciServer and Datalabs.
5. Additionally, there will be sessions tailored to more experienced users, including a discussion about how to get involved in pySAS development.
