Membership is open to all interested AAS members, regardless of their status or background.
Scope of Work: Review recent white papers and reports that contain recommendations for the AAS and prioritize the actions recommended by those documents. Establish who is responsible for actions and provide guidance to future groups seeking to submit recommendations.

Timeline: Draft of report by September 2025; Final report before January 2026. The final report will include: 1) recommendations sorted into bins of “ease, impact, alignment with a strategic plan, and cost,” 2) a prioritized list of actions for AAS to take based on recommendations, 3) suggestions for who is responsible for actions, 4) lessons learned information for future task forces doing this kind of prioritization in the future, 5) guidance to stakeholders for submission of recommendations, and 6) stretch goal: any additional.
